Student’s Trip to Paris
We were extremely pleased this academic year to be able to offer students the opportunity to take part in a cultural and linguistic trip to Paris.
This trip was offered to all current 5th year students who study French at St. Brigid’s. A willingness to participate in all activities with a language element was essential. The trip itinerary is included below with many different activities available to the students.
This exciting opportunity included the following;

• One small item of hand luggage
• One item of luggage per person
• 3 nights B&B hotel accommodation in Paris

• Guided sightseeing tour of Paris
• Bateaux Mouches boat trip on the River Seine
• Entrance to Disneyland Paris - one day/two parks

Our school trip to Paris is a fantastic option for a number of reasons. Paris is a city with many world-renowned landmarks and monuments dotted around the city centre, from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. The students have a chance to be fully immersed in the French language and few cities boast a better collection of world-class museums and galleries than Paris. Visiting the Louvre, or the picturesque hills of Montmartre that have been a home for many great artists, writers and musicians in recent history: Salvador Dali, Vincent van Gogh and Ernest Hemingway, to name a few is an amazing cross-curricular opportunity. Our school trip Paris has a huge language focus, and there is no better place to immerse students in French culture and captivate their imagination than the country’s capital.
